Night Painting Progress
This is the outline and start of my night painting. Im planning to paint a guy leaning on a wall in an alleyway. Like my previous dog painting, the alleyway itself will be rendered loosely but with enough information for the viewer to under the location. Overall, the painting will be done in cool colors to evoke a feeling of melancholy. (hopefully i used that word correctly in the sentence...)

I'm very interested in the contrasting textures you have so far. The smooth part in particular is really eye-catiching, and the subtleties of the pinks, purples, and blues create a stunning, yet soothing color palette. I'm curious to see what the finished result look like and if the whole thing will be uniform in texture or if it'll keep some of the variety in this WIP.
