Progress of Loud Painting
Just need to add the woman's hair, the folds on the blue pillow, and extra details on the face. This painting has been my favorite to work on so far. I was inspired by the dramatic lighting from '80s horror movies, and actresses' over-the-top glam (for ex: wearing heavy makeup even during nighttime scenes.)
The texture looks incredible. My favorite area is the mouth, there is so much detail and depth.
ReplyDeleteThis is a morbid piece once you add the details of the pillow she's laying on! I really like the way you painted her with just the right amount of details and the undertones in the skin. You could leave the figure as-is if you wanted to. Maybe one thing to keep in mind is to differentiate (if you want to) the hand from the face, because they're both the same tone. Unless the figure is choking herself, but however way you put it, it's an interesting piece
ReplyDeleteWonderful piece and so much attention and reaction to it. The color and the proportion of it all is on point.
